Mr. Mason is a cum laude 1981 graduate of Texas A & M University, where he earned his B.B.A. He graduated from the University of Houston College of Law in 1984.
He is admitted to practice in the State of Texas (1984). As a former Captain in the United States Army, Mr. Mason was also admitted to practice in Colorado (Judge Advocate General, 1985). He is admitted to the United States District Courts for the Southern (1984) and Northern (1989) Districts of Texas, the United States District Court of Military Appeals (1985), the United States Army Court of Military Review and the United States Supreme Court (1991).
Following law school, Mr. Mason trained at the prestigious Judge Advocate General’s school on the campus of the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville. He then served from 1985 to 1988 as a Trial Counsel and Prosecutor with the United States Army Judge Advocate General Corps for the Third Brigade Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colorado.
In 1988, he then moved to Houston where he served as a senior litigator for Calvin, Dylewski, Gibbs, Maddox and Verner, P.C..
Mr. Mason has later served for several years as a Senior Trial Attorney in the Houston office of State Farm Insurance.
Mr. Mason also worked for three terms as a member of the City Council of the City of Hunters Creek Village (1997-2001). He is currently serving as a Commissioner on the Village Fire Department Commission (1995-2001) and Delegate to the Houston-Galveston Area Counsel.
He is a member of the Texas Bar Association, the College of the State Bar of Texas, the Association of American Trial Lawyers, the Houston Bar Association, the Texas Association of Accident Reconstruction Specialists, and the South Texas College of Law Continuing Education Department (1995 to present).
His practice for the last 20 years has focused on serious Personal Injury cases, Wrongful Death, Products Liability and Civil Litigation. Mr. Mason is a dedicated lawyer with over 27 years of Personal Injury law experience.
