J. T. “Tim” Doyle has over 30 years of valuable legal experience that benefits each and every plaintiff he represents. He began his legal career as law clerk to Justice Preston Devine of the California Court of Appeal followed by three years as a trial attorney in the San Francisco District Attorneys office. Thereafter, he engaged in civil litigation of all varieties, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in hundreds of cases involving personal injury, insurance bad faith, wrongful death, construction, real estate, product liability, premises liability, public entities, professional liability (including lawyers, architects, and engineers), employment and general casualty. He has handled many jury trials and has negotiated hundreds of settlements on behalf injured people.
His work includes service as Managing Attorney for two large casualty insurance carriers, Aetna Casualty and Surety Company and Cal Farm Insurance Company. He has worked with all levels of insurance claims personnel and knows how insurance companies work. He therefore can evaluate your claim more accurately then others. Mr. Doyle has conducted his own practice representing injured plaintiffs for half his legal career. He finds representing plaintiffs very fulfilling in that he knows his efforts help people get their lives back in order after a bad accident. He has won hundreds of settlements on behalf of injured people including settlements in excess of $1,000,000.00.
He has participated in hundreds of mediations to successful conclusion, and has strong negotiation and risk analysis skills. He has also gained additional skill at placing value on personal injury cases through his service a private mediator and through his service as a Court appointed mediator on San Francisco Bay area mediation panels.
